    Jim is the President of Western Group, Inc., overseeing operations for the firm’s 10 Colorado locations and management of the Wheat Ridge location.  He began his insurance career in 1992 as a life and health producer for Woodmen Accident and Life.  He joined All Colorado Insurance Services, Inc., in 1993, and opened his own agency, Colorado Insurance of Denver, Inc., in 1995, which merged with WGI in 2000.  He has served for the independent insurance state association in 2008 as a director, 2009 as the secretary/treasurer, vice president from 2010 through 2012 and was the Chairman of the association for 2013-2014.  Howes also is a current board member on Agents Services that assists independent agencies through out the state of Colorado. Jim also served on the board of directors of Arapahoe House. Jim currently is serving his 3 third year as the board of directors chairman for the Wheat Ridge Chamber of Commerce.

    In 2014 Howes was appointed to the Governors Task Force for establishing rates for towing as the insurance companies’ representative. 

    Howes has been married to his wife, Kathy, for 29 years and they have four children, Salvatore, Dwight, Sadi and Denea.

    As a native of Wheat Ridge, Joe DeMott is incredibly involved in his community. Joe owns both Pietra’s Pizzeria on 44th and Clancy Irish Pub on 38th. Joe was a City Council Member of Wheat Ridge from 2009 to 2013 where he advocated for businesses and service organizations. He is the chair of the Wheat Ridge Carnation Festival that benefits service clubs and schools in Wheat Ridge. Overall, he loves his Wheat Ridge community!

    Shaun is a third generation Coloradoan, has been married since 1986, and is the father of six children. He was admitted to practice law in Colorado on May 21, 1987, and before the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado on February 25, 1988.  He is the owner of the Pearman Law Firm in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.  He was admitted to practice law in Oregon on April 12, 2012. He graduated from the University of Denver in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and again in 1986 with a Juris Doctor. He is a trial attorney who has taken hundreds of cases to trial.  He attends and is active at Grace Church of Arvada. Shaun is on the board of the Metropolitan Denver Chapter of the Christian Legal Society.  His family has been in the metals recycling business since the late 1960's, operating Action Recycling Center and Can Land Recycling Center, as well as operating one of Colorado's oldest feed stores, Wardle Feed & Pet Supply. As a result, he has remained active in the scrap industry, monitoring legislation and regulations and working with legislators to protect the recycling industry and to encourage recycling.  Shaun has been involved in helping to write or amend several Colorado statutes affecting the recycling industry. Shaun is also a member of both the Arvada Chamber of Commerce and the Wheat Ridge Chamber of Commerce.

Married for 21 years and Wheat Ridge citizen for the same amount with an 18yr old daughter named Zoe who attends Wheat Ridge High School. Past Wheat Ridge District 1 City Councilman and Wheat Ridge Cultural Commission Board of Directors. I’m also a nationally known abstract artist.

    For 35 years Tami worked in the corporate world as a programmer, systems analyst, trainer, investment operations analyst, asset manager and business analyst. In April, 2017 she volunteered with Family Tree and became aware of the significant way  they are meeting the needs of our community. After meeting some of the clients who were working so hard to become safe, stable and self-reliant and working with the Family Tree staff, she decided to change career directions.  She was hired as the full time Development Coordinator at Family Tree in October 2017.    Since then she has met many  amazing, caring community members who are involved in making a difference in our community, and enjoys supporting and interacting with the community as a whole.
