The Ridge at 38 district in Wheat Ridge, Colorado has launched a series of new initiatives aimed at enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and overall experience of the 38th Avenue business corridor.

These efforts include a new website, the installation of corridor-wide light-pole banners, the recent opening of The Green at 38th, and the introduction of a community reimbursement program designed to encourage residents to support local businesses.

Together, these initiatives represent continued investment in Ridge at 38 as a key commercial and community district within Wheat Ridge—home to many local businesses, including the Wheat Ridge Chamber of Commerce, located directly along the 38th Avenue corridor.

New Website Supports Business Visibility and Community Engagement

The newly launched website, https://ridgeat38.org, serves as a centralized resource for residents, visitors, and businesses along the Ridge at 38 corridor.

The site includes information about the district, The Green at 38th, and major events such as RidgeFest, along with an integrated events calendar that allows users to follow and save upcoming activities.

An interactive map of businesses along the Ridge at 38 corridor has also been added, making it easier for users to discover local restaurants, shops, and services throughout the Wheat Ridge community.

“The goal of the design was to take something cherished and historic and present it with a modern look that respects the city’s past while pointing toward its growth,” said Roman Komarov, a Wheat Ridge–based designer, Chamber member, and founder of LittleBig Digital, who designed and developed the website.

The Green at 38th Expands Community Gathering Space

The recent opening of The Green at 38th adds a dedicated public space for community gatherings, events, and neighborhood programming within the Ridge at 38 district.

The Green is expected to play an important role in future events and community engagement, providing a central location for residents and visitors to gather along the corridor.

Corridor Banners Strengthen District Identity

Approximately 80 new light-pole banners have been designed and installed throughout the Ridge at 38 corridor.

Designed by Komarov, the banners incorporate Ridge at 38 branding along with messaging such as “The Heart of Wheat Ridge” and “Community Starts Here.” The designs also include stylized wheat imagery, reflecting Wheat Ridge’s agricultural history.

The banners have created a more cohesive visual identity along 38th Avenue and have helped reinforce the district’s presence as a recognizable destination within the city.

Reimbursement Program Encourages Local Spending

Ridge at 38 has also introduced a community reimbursement program aimed at supporting local businesses and encouraging residents to shop within the district.

Through the program, customers who make purchases at participating Ridge at 38 businesses can receive 20% back on their purchase, up to $20.

The program is designed to incentivize local spending, introduce customers to new businesses, and strengthen economic activity along the corridor.

Supported by Local Partnerships

These initiatives were made possible through support from Localworks and the City of Wheat Ridge, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening the local business community and enhancing the Ridge at 38 district.
